About Us

Who We Are

Next Level Dance Academy was founded in 2014 by Emma Skett and Charlotte Jones. We provide a wide range of dance classes for children and adults each week at our studio in Halesowen, these can be found on our timetable.

Our Mission

To take dance to the next level. With hard work and practise amazing things can be achieved. We help each child to feel positive and confident whether they are dancing just for fun or wish to enter exams and perform.

We Believe

We believe that hard work and practise should also be fun. We work hard to ensure our dancers have a kind, caring, nurturing, environment for them to gain confidence and help encourage them to take their skills to the next level.

Our Team

Emma Skett

Principal and Head Teacher

Started dancing at the age of 3 concentrating on just ballet and tap and later contemporary. Emma opened babyballet® Halesowen in 2011 and quickly went on to expand to Next Level Dance with Miss Charlie in 2012.

JENNIE HIGGINSON

Musical Theatre, Adult Ballet and Tap Teacher

Jennie began dancing aged just 2 years old training in IDTA Ballet, Modern Jazz, Tap and Theatre Craft receiving high grades in all disciplines as well as the Pre Associate 1 Ballet Teaching Award.

Kaitlyn Adams

Contemporary and Acro teacher

I have an extreme passion for dancing and teaching students the skills and talents I have gained throughout my training. I have taken dance lessons and exams since the age of two, passing many exams and medals in various forms of dance.

Charlotte Kelly

Principal and Head Teacher

Charlotte has trained in ballet, tap, modern, street and cheerleading. She went on to study dance and performing arts at university and after successfully running local street classes she set up NLDA with Miss Emma in 2012.

Lauren Millar

Cheerleading, Street, Jazz, FLIPS AND TRICKS, Competition team teacher

Lauren started her dance training at 14 and went on to study at BOA gaining a ***distinction in dance. She then furthered her dance training at one of the UK’s top professional dance schools.
